WAX
- Luxury grade pure coconut & soy blend
- About this wonderful wax I use! My candle tops may not look big-box-store perfect, & that is because
- wellp, I am hand-pouring them!
- it contains zero icky additives commonly used in commercial candlemaking to "stabilize" wax & make manufacturing easier/faster/cheaper.
- FREE FROM: gluten, toxins, parabens, phthalates, paraffin (which is derived from petroleum/coal/shale oil, *common stabilizer, & makes us feel ill when burned), & cruelty (it's Leaping Bunny Certified!)
- 100% vegan & all natural.
- Made in USA. It's sourced from Detroit which, incidentally, is where I am sourced from as well! (I think that was a Dad joke.) #MadeInDetroit
FRAGRANCE OILS
- I use only premium grade fragrance oils from a couple domestic suppliers that I know and trust. There's a lot of icky, chemically stuff that can go into candles and leave us feeling pretty sick when they burn.
- Additionally, I only use single scent oils (such as Rosemary or Almond) & personally create each "smell" recipe. I believe candle scentscaping is an art and I take joy in it. *Sidebar: if you google "candle fragrance oils," there's a massive market for ready-to-pour "dupe" fragrance blends that makes it easy to enter this game of melted wax. So the next time you're like dang all these candles just seem to smell the same...
SCENT BLENDS
- All scents blends are my original recipes. I blend together single scent fragrance oils to personally craft the "sensory journey" for every individual candle's use case.
- A la Just Add Magic, I test ratios until it hits just right. Then it's off to the couldron to melt, mix, pour, set, and test for mystical efficacy and olfactory delight.
WICKS
- Only all natural, lead-free wicks up in here, my friends.
- Made in the USA.
- Constructed with ring spun cotton and a tiny, specialty paper filament for consistent wicking.
CANDLE JARS
- 10oz size, thick frosted glass, approximately 3" wide & 3.5" tall.
- Color: black, brown, or white depending on the style you've purchased.
- Each comes with a bamboo lid.
- Jars are dishwasher safe & reusable! Please utilize Ye Old Google as there are many methods for safely + thoroughly removing candle wax from glass vessels. You may find one process more to your liking than another.
